The Aston Shuffle – Tear it Down (SAFIA Remix)

Ashton Shuffle - Tear it Down (SAFIA remix)

Just in case you forgot, we here at Constant Confusion are some soulful sonsabitches. And if you don’t know what I mean by that, here as a crazy catchy remix of Tear it Down by Safia. And like most great electronic music today, it comes from the land down under. I don’t know what it is about those aussies, but they know their way around a remix. Prepare for this one to be stuck in your head all day long.

I know what you’re thinking, “Isn’t Safia a small town in south-west Burkina Faso with a population barely over a thousand?” And you are right. But Safia is also the name of an indie electronic band made up of Ben Woolner, Michael Bell and Harry Sayers. The trio has a few really great tunes and I expect a lot more in the future. They managed to take Aston Shuffle’s extremely boring track and turn it into something that is extremely catchy, danceable and chill all at the same time. Bravo

What am I tearing down exactly? I don’t know. But it’s happening tonight, goddamnit.
