Clockwork Coming to Beta Nightclub
UPDATE: SHOW HAS BEEN CANCELLED
World renowned DJ/producer Clockwork will be bringing his talents to Beta Nightclub Friday, September 6th. The LA born artist, also known as Henry Steinway, is one of the busiest producers in the EDM scene. As the festival season slowly comes to an end, he is making time to perform in Denver.
Clockwork has already performed at every giant electronic music festival this summer including Electric Daisy Carnival in Chicago and Las Vegas, Electric Zoo in New York, HARD Summer in Los Angeles, Bonnaroo in Tennessee, and Electric Forest in Michigan. And as if that wasn’t enough for Steinway, he has also been touring all over the world performing as his trap-oriented alter ego, RL Grime (Soundcloud link); including a stop at Colorado’s biggest electronic show, Global Dance Festival at Red Rocks. After a generally rainy festival season, it will be exciting to see the show he brings to Beta Nightclub, which was recently named the Best Dance Club in America by Rolling Stone Magazine. The capacity of 950 will make for a much more intimate show compared to an outdoor festival with thousands of people.
Clockwork’s rise to fame started in 2011 when he was noticed by EDM hero Steve Aoki, among others. Aoki quickly signed the young artist to the legendary Dim Mak records, also home to some of the biggest names in the dance music world. At just 18 years-old he became the youngest artist ever signed to Dim Mak. Two years later, Steinway is at the forefront of the big-room genre, and pioneering several others. His unique blend of bass and hip-hop influenced big-room is guaranteed to get the club moving Friday night. If you weren’t lucky enough to catch him at one of this summer’s outdoor musical festivals, this is one night at Beta you won’t want to miss. And if Clockwork’s EDC Las Vegas performance is any indication, RL Grime might make an appearance too.
